Ohio State football recruit wounded in shooting

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - An Ohio State football recruit and the driver of the car in which he was riding were wounded in an apparent drive-by shooting in Youngstown.

Police say 18-year-old recruit Jamel Turner was wounded in the left ankle and right hip and the driver was shot in the hand late Friday night. None of the wounds was (were) life-threatening.

We all have choices in life. Mr. Turner better start choosing different people to hang out with or the quality of his life will change drastically. Someone needs to talk to this young man, before he loses everything he's worked for.

Based on this incident and the advice that he "better start choosing different people to hang out with" it's obvious that either he was born in Florida, or the people he was with were! There's no way these are Ohio folks!
