I'm undecided. Do you think the Buchtel QB (number 11) was just really trying to do his part in helping to score, or do you think he was being a ball hog, as numerous times, he ignored the wide open recievers and tried to run the ball himself? Which he was pretty damn good at I must say. (No offense to our Tigs of course!)

I think he is a kid that has a lot of pressure put on his shoulders. I have a feeling the coaching staff over there expects him to do it all. He had a great game last night....

#11 was definately impressive last night.I didn`t think he was being selfish personally. He is one of the few weapons they seem to have. That kid has a lot of talent.

I still think many in Massillon have Bobby Huth's great QB play still to fresh in their mind to remember that being able to roll out of pressure and to be able to find an open receiver once the pocket collapses and to run the ball for a gain when your receivers are not open are both good feats for a H.S. QB, but being able to do both and make the best play at the same time is a GREAT talent/skill that most H.S. QBs are not going to have the first week of the season, if they ever develop it. Buchtel has the makings of a very good QB and hopefully that young man can develop which could help us out from here on out in the L2 playoff point category.

Agreed. Most people don't realize how good Bobby was b/c of his size. He's right up there with Massillons best QB's ever.

Not sure about one of the best ever but certainly GREAT. Especially able to maximize the talent around him. Truly a winner, and truly the epitome of what a Massillon athlete is all about.

#11 Tahj Dent from what i could see had a run first mentality. it looked to me that he probably has not played much QB or has not been properly coached to make reads. he does not have a good throwing motion or strength to make even the easiest passes. many of his passes were behind or at the feet of his recievers if they even made it there. he has alot of talent defensively and probably is best suited as a DB, but when you school only has 335 boys in it sometimes your best athlete becomes your QB. Akron Buchtel will win some games this year, but not many. they have alot of work to do.
