That was my thought as well, but I wonder if it would have been better to go to a smaller school or CC so he wouldn't have to sit out a year.

There's no way to clean up some stories, to make them better than what they are.

So it goes with new University of Akron signee, Devoe Torrence. Great talent, but what's the cost of signing him?

More importantly, and maybe more fairly, is there a cost at all?

When Torrence was charged, there were statements from Massillon that Torrence would not have found that kind of trouble had he grown up in Massillon.
Why would someone think/believe that? I don't recall that being implied from anyone.

He's out of Massillon. That's the most important part of the article. Good luck to him. I HOPE he has learned his lesson. Common sense tells me he probably hasn't.
