I'm not much of a gambler but It doesn't take much to see the odds the state is giving SUCKS. I was at the Tow Path Cabin today and out of the $100 that was tossed in ... a grand total of 2 winners were produced. It really seemed pretty lame to me. How can the state not allow casino gambling but yet bring this rip off into our towns? If they want to do a service, at least give the gambler a chance an allow blackjack, craps, etc.

Government just keeps getting bigger. I knew the turnpike commission would never go away once the road was paid for.. now it looks like the Ohio Lottery is the place to seek employment. O.K. I'm done complaining.:suspect:

It's sophisticated bingo. You get a card of numbers and pick I THINK 25 numbers. Then the casino (only place I've ever done it) starts drawing numbers. I can't remember how many numbers though. Anyway, I suspect you're too young to play it anyway. It's a REAL old person's game. Well, and DAWGH8R, who will gamble on ANYTHING!!

I think you can only play 20 numbers out of the 80 on the card.

I've played a few times in Vegas, but I don't really understand how to play. You can play several bets on one card. For instance, you can circle six numbers individually, and then divide those six into two groups of three with two more circles. The grouped numbers and individual numbers are separate bets.

When you take your card up to the desk, they'll make some notes on your card and print a slip with your numbers and bets (and of course take your money). After that, you sit and wait...and wait...and wait. I think the cards are good for all games played at that casino up to 24 hours after the bets were placed.

I somehow won $45 once, but don't ask me how I did it. The keno lounge is a good place to crash if you can't make it back to your room, or you want to take a nap. Most players in the lounge will be three times as old as you, no matter how old you are.

Question:

If Keno is purely a game of chance, how does the Ohio Lottery Commission estimate it will generate $73 Million in revenues? Sounds pretty fishy to me, or is it being administered by the Cuyahoga County Commissioners? LOL!!
