This is a very sad situation for the Spielman family. If you know him, have a heart and make a visit. Prayers for Mr. Spielman and family during this difficult time.

•CANTON Former Timken High School football coach Sonny Spielman has been transferred to The Arbors at Canton, 2714 13th St. NW, to be closer to visitors, said Berlinda Artzner, Spielman's friend and caregiver.
Spielman, 71, had been hospitalized at the James Cancer Center in Columbus following recent lung surgery. He also has undergone colon surgery to remove a cancerous tumor and is diagnosed with bone marrow and brain cancer, Artzner said. He is conscious, but he is on a ventilator and often cannot speak.
"He's just so lonely. He needs socialization, so (Spielman's son) Chris and I decided the best move was to bring him back to where people know him," Artzner said.
Sonny Spielman was the Trojans head coach from 1970-79, going 40-62-3. He is the last coach to lead Timken football to consecutive winning seasons
