Just found out yesterday that my dad has 2 tumors growing on his liver and only has about a month to live. He is the biggest Massillon fan that i know, and the thought of not having him around this football season is one that im having a hard time with. Please keep us in your prayers tonight.

Raptor, my heart goes out to you and your family. And you will be included in our prayers for God to give you strength and guidance during this difficult time. My husband lost his father just last year. He also had a lung illness and They were given some advance notice concerning the inevitable. As hard as it was to accept the news, it was a blessing that his family knew ahead of time and my husband spent every day at the hospital with his father for nearly a month. It gave them time and opportunity to reflect on things as well as clear some things up and brought them together spiritually. So in this regard, it was a blessing that many people are not granted, it gave them precious time. Time that we all tend to think that there is plenty of. God bless you and your dad. And remember everything he instilled in you, all of the lessons, all of the love... will never be taken away from you.

My dad once saw a cartoon by mgm called One cab's family. HE LOVED IT! for the longest time he sat in front of the tv with a tape ready to go in case it ever came on again. It never did. The cartoon was about a taxi cab whos son wanted to be a race car until he had an accident then decided to be a taxi cab just like his dad. I would really like to be able to get ahold of this cartoon before my dad is no longer with us. can someone, anyone PLEASE help me find a copy so i may watch it with him. I dont have a computer at home and im not able to order stuff off the internet, but if anyone knows of anyone who has this cartoon or is able to get it within a week or two, please e-mail me at massillontigers2001@yahoo.com
Or just a post on here or send me a private message.
Thank You!

I found this online. I hope it's the one you're referring to. The links below have options to view the cartoon you mention in your post.

Also, here's a link where you can purchase One Cab's Family (as part of the Tex Avery Complete Cartoon Series 5 Dvd Set) if you want. That way, he could watch the cartoon from his home.

Best wishes to your father. I hope this cheers him up somewhat.

Raptor -- I’m praying for you and your family in this really trying time.
I too lost my Dad before football season years ago. He was a huge Tiger fan, Booster Club, Sideliner…. It was really difficult. But, when you stop and think and appreciate all of the really wonderful times you had together at the games and many other things, it can help ease the pain. These are the things we carry with us and pass along to our children and grandchildren. I’m sure he is really a blessing to you.
Stay strong -- God will help you through this.

My family and I would like to say thank you to everyone for all their kind words and prayers during this time.
My dad was released from the hospital today. There really isnt much more they could do for him.
The doctors thought it would be best for him to spend the remainder of his time with family.
It's hard to watch someone go through something like this. Its even harder when it's someone who you are close to, and love very much.
