Randy Pausch, the Carnegie Mellon University computer scientist whose "last lecture" about facing terminal cancer became an Internet sensation and a best-selling book, died Friday. He was 47.

Ah, man this is sad, sad news. This guy should be an inspiration for ANYONE today. I would suggest getting the book and reading it. Also listening to the lecture. It will make you a better person, even if only for awhile.

I took your advice and watched about 40 mins worth. This man had alot of spirit and courage espically knowing what he had to go through. This was probably one of the most intresting and moving lectures I've ever seen.

Here's what I find interesting. Eleventy billion posts on something as irrelevant as "Titletown USA" and two on something as awe-inspiring as this. Gosh, just makes you shake your head.
