Big fight in Detroit ends in four ejections and possible suspensions. The Shock made it clear though and Los Angeles Sparks standout player Candace Parker found out the hard way: Don't ever mess with the heart of a Detroiter: http://blogs.bet.com/news/playahater/the-wnba-has-arrived-sparks-shock-brawl/
I know Mayor Kilpatrick was watching...pulling for his hometown gals!

obie7661,
One of the suspensions was a load of bold, ultra, loaded, livid, snappy, hot, incomplete, trash. Rick Mahorn did not deserve to be suspended and I am very angry about it.
All Mahorn did was step in to break it up and this is what he gets. It's wrong and it's unfair. Detroit city had better wake up and see what the funk is going on! They have a championship tradition to uphold and the WNBA is trying to take that away along with their pride!
If I know someone is trying to take away my pride and everything I worked for, you can believe I will do something about it. And I know those women for the Shock will too! Detroit city has never backed down for nothing and I don't see it happening now!

The fact that they were all black doesn't make this all the sweeter. It only hurts their reputations for the worse.
And Lisa Leslie can attest to this.
