That would be awsome. Some former Tigers might even be in the house. I spoke to one I work with and he said he will definately be there. Wearing orange of course for the "Orange Out".

That was a good segment. I sure wish I was there to rally the troops into a '05 Title game-like tailgate. Too bad someone couldn't get ahold of ONN , and get the footage for ESPN to play. The entire weekend at Fawcett was a hi-lite reel. From the 'Mother-of-all-Tailgates" to the fan support, to the Tigers that left their guts on the field,......................it was an AWESOME weekend.
If only we could replicate that for ESPN !!!

Over the last few years it has been a problem to get that many people at PBTS for a game, let alone a rally :scratchchin:

I agree, let along to get them all to carry on like those people were.
WE should use their video as a guide to team support.
BTW I am not worried about the fans who read and post here. I know you will all be there and ready to go!
Go ?
Go Tigers !

10,000 fans is a good estimate. I always hate to be a doomer-gloomer but I think 1,500 is more realistic. The turnout will be be equal to the crowds that show up on a Friday night when it,s raining and the opponent is sub par. The Independent will report that 10,000 showed up like they do after the aforementioned Friday night game.
I hope I am wrong!!! I will be there.

the valdosta segment was on a wed. nite.the crowd would have been capacity on any other nite, but many folks have commitments to church and couldnt attend the rally.the taping began at 6:oo pm and around 6:45 several thousand left for their church.the valdosta commujnity as a hole has 447 state and natl titles in various sports.vhs has 116 titles and 23 are football.just goes to show you football can be a big deal, but the other sports dont have to suffer for it.
good luck on your presentation.

That was a good segment. I've been to Valdosta and have been to a game with the Wildcats. It's exciting, but nothing like the atmosphere at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium! My brother's kids would have gone to Lowndes County HS, but they moved. Valdosta High is kind of the "inner city" school and the rest of the county goes to Lowndes.
Yes, the rest of the county. That explains why they have so many wins. Think of it as Stark County only having Massillon and Canton McKinley High Schools. Do you think we would have 2 powerhouse programs?
By the way, no one mentioned that Valdosta High has the same helmet logo and name as St. Ignatius. Anyone notice that?

growth has been in the county.valdosta is a city of around 46,000.has been for several years.vhs players are inside the city limits only.the cats paw helmuts go back to 1981 the year after clemson debut theirs.the uni is the same as the steelers.the old cats wore solid gold helmuts with the unis like the old ga. tech ones.
