Does anyone know yet how the voting process will take place? I doubt votes will be limited. And if not, I personally plan on packing a 3 day supply of food, attaching myself to the PC, and voting until my fingers BLEED! (Orange blood of course).

I was told that it is 1 vote per computer per an article on ESPN. Sorry I don't know what article. Was told by a co-worker. I work at a company with over 500 computers...don't make me vote from each one....lol

Wow. That sucks. That gives us a huge disadvantage.

Clear your cookies.
If they log by IP, the router has to be re-booted.

Sure do hope alot of Massillon fans work at businesses like yours! What if back in the day Wheaties only allowed 1 vote per person? :Oo:

Well see I am bribing people at work. They all love Leibermanns so I told them if they vote from their work computers I will bring them donuts. And the funniest part is alot of them are Mck fans. Voting to get a donut...doesn't surprise me. Anyone else?

This is a nice thought, but may not work... if your employer has a router that is connected to only one internet connection, it won't matter how many computers vote, they all count as the same ip address since it's going through the "static ip" based internet connection. /i guess your best bet is just try...

Wouldn't this work if they logged on to an anonymous proxy server ??
With the cpu intellect of OBIEFAN, he's probably cooking up a automatic voting , IP regeneration program as we speak !!

Unless they are going on the MAC address, in which case a few people could make a large difference with the right software.
However the last time I wanted to add some extra votes to an ESPN poll I simply loaded up I.E. (Since I use Firefox), and told it to not accept cookies... vote after vote, no problem.

We need to be careful with what we are putting on here as tricks to beat the system.
I have a friend in Knoxville who is monitoring our moves .
I don't know how to get the word out to our network of friends without the enemy seeing our moves.
Maybe a plan but not going public too far in advance?
Now if we could only figure a way to come CLOSE to being in the top 5 of the Reps Booster Bonaza this fall.

Not to worry Banks !! I have PM'd everyone with the latest software that will be of the most benefit.
If it works as advertised, it should generate as many as 13,000 votes per hour per computer. Since we have 2266 members, and the software only be enabled once per computer, sounds like we have this one in the bag !!
I just hope we don't crash ESPN's server !!
