I'm sure there are 50 threads on another site whining about how Massillon is ranked above Colerain. :snore: That weekend we'll all be saying OH-IO.

Well indirectly. No one started a thread about it but they still whined about it when someone started a thread noting the East/West game attendance outnumbered the North-South attendance by at least 2-thousand.

They are the only one at this point. It's a pretty tough list to crack.

Don't be so positive scottyotc! We are going to roll through teams! i dont see us losing any games this year!!!! We have a strong schedule however Coach Stacy would sign up to play Iggy, hamilton, Warren, etc,... if he did not know we were going to superior this year. Some players are going to emerge and dominate plays! These players have a refuse to lose mentallity! The juniors last year elevated our squad and will lead us to the championship! i been dealing with this team since daily, gamble, mcguire, miller etc,... played midget and junior high and predicted this team would be special 7 years ago!!!!! The show starts 8/25/06!

I feel ya Monte . Id love a 10-0 season. Its less important to me than a championship though. Our schedule will prepare us for a deep run because of the quality of our opposition.
Sometimes a loss is needed. I think week 10 last year motivated some, and drove us to week 15.

I couldn't agree more. Even though I ALWAYS want to win Week 10, but I think it ultimately spured us onto our phenomenal run.

Hilarious how Massillon is #33 in the country and #7 in the midwest region and people on other sites have us as low as #7 in Ohio. Are you freaking kidding me?

... Massillon is #33 in the country and #7 in the midwest region ....
FWIW, I saw "similar" rankings in a H.S. Football magazine last night.
St X is ranked # 3 in the midwest region; St Ed's was #5.
Yes, they had Massillon at # 7.
McKinley is # 14 and Colerain # 17 in the midwest rankings.
I didn't see any other Ohio teams ranked. (I might have missed 'em?)
Of course, much of these pre-season rankings are based upon last-year's success.
Any FAN who thinks his team (not one of the above-mentioned 5 teams) deserves higher ranking is either grossly optomistic or delusional.

The preseason hype is all good however it really dont matter until game night!
Lets look back at the end of season and see who faired better. We have a great chance barring major injury to take it all the way! After week 3 and 4 we will know how good we really are!
