Here is the add for the sale of the Legends land.
These must be the same rocket scientists who gave away the food and beverage business.
1) Down Payment with additional payments as lots sell - What if they never sell - the course will be ruined for nothing
2) Nothing about re-routing cart paths, etc to make the course playable during construction
3) Who pays for the costs to re-desing the course

To me... this seems like stupidity in action. I believed that they intended to leave the East Course intact. Fine. I then felt they should have used the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th & 9 South. To finish... it could use the north holes of 1st, 2nd, and 9th. Minimal of none rerouting and you'd still be left with a decent layout.. What the hell happened?!?! Where is someone going to go after playing the former #8 South? Will someone remember this is an ASSET?!?:wall:

I saw the new layout. After you play # 8 South, you go to # 9 North.
It is only 1000 yards from green to tee. Great for walkers and speed of play.
BRILLIANT !!!!

I wonder if I could buy a golf cart and open up a "cab service" from 8 green to 9 tee?? Hmmmm.

I don't think you'd go to 9 North next... you still need some holes to play. I guess they would route you to 3 North (the par 5), then finish at 7, 8, & 9 North. I guess the 4,5, & 6 would be the worthless 'practice holes.' Just Great.. :notlistening:

The worst thing about this proposal is that the buyer pays an initial down payment, then they don't have to pay anything until the individual lots sell.
Hell, there are still vacant lots from the original 18 holes. It could be 15 years before the city see the full amount of the sale. This is just ridiculous

I have not read the details of the bid docs, but if this is true....WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING? I THOUGHT THE INTENT WAS GENERATING SIGNIFICANT AND IMMEDIATE CASH FLOW...
