I have a lot of thanks to give on this one to the various individuals and my relationships with their schools that made this happen for me ! Add to this my instructors at Mount Union College along with family and true friends!!!!

TigerCoach,

You're an experienced official that has always embodied the integrity of the game from seeing you officiate past games! I just hope I don't have to see you throw out another fan like I did two years ago (LOL)!

obie7661,

That's what I call hitting from halfcourt!!!!!!!!!!!

This could have been interesting with soccer. I believe the rule may have been changed this year, but I'll have to look into it. They had a stupid rule that if a player entered the field with improper/dangerous equipment on (improper shin guards, jewlery, etc), the coach would get a yellow card (basically a technical). I'm not sure if this happened again if the coach could get a red card and be ejected or not.

I had that happen last year, fortunately the ref didn't give me a yellow card because he thought the rule was stupid. I had a player with a necklace on. He had to come out of the game and I couldn't get him back on until the ball went out of play...so I played a player short for about 5 minutes.

austinsm11,

In an earlier thread, I commented on the possibility of assessing a technical foul to student sections that get out of control and how I'd manage the situation if I was a referee or administrator.

In a way, you lucked out regarding your situation.
