obie7661,
That's always been the trademark of Cleveland St. Ignatius...an all-white school that has 1,038 white males who are offensive weapons. Add to the fact they have brains in the classroom and it's all the more validated.

St. Ignatius is all white?
That's news to me.

What is validated? The fact that the reason they are so smart is attributed to being an "all white" school? C'mon Keno, your better than that.

Their fans will have a lot of football to look forward to. I love their fans for the class they show at their games not just toward their team but other teams and their fans as well.

If you've ever attended a "Parent's Night" at an Iggy game, you will notice that 99% of the kids from from 2 parent families. That has to be a HUGE advantage !

CarlE,
I bullcrap you not! Cleveland St. Ignatius fans are one of the best in Northeast Ohio largely in part to how they carry themselves. They have never treated anyone bad and are just the kind of fans anyone can be around with.
I have been around their fans and they are very sociable !

All that means is that St. Ignatius parents don't carry guns like they do in Canton & Akron.

Ignatius scoring points against us has NEVER been a problem.

...and most of the organized chants by their students aren't too flattering either :poke: "That's alright, that's ok, cuz you're going to work for them some day."

Like the year a row of their fans were removed from a playoff game for their behavior including throwing beer cans on the track (and a former player was arrested).

Don't forget their oft used chant of "Why so quiet?" Although a lot of schools do that one,I think they were the originators. And remember the one time we beat them,we were "thugs."

Rushfan,
There are seven schools in Northeast Ohio I would fear getting down against if I were an opposing head coach.
St. Ignatius is one of the seven. Not only can Wildcats head coach Chuck Kyle really hurt you with his adept play calling, but add in the fact that they have depth at every position and it can make for a long evening. Though their fans are not as good as creating delay of game penalties and false starts, I do know this: Kyle has NEVER lost a game when he gets a three-touchdown advantage on other teams...and that forces them into pressing and making mistakes that lead to turnovers and scoring opportunities for the vicious but voracious Ignatius offense.
P.S. My favorite chant of theirs I read about was "same old story" when they were hammering a visting team like 42-0 at Byers Field in the fourth quarter. I thought that was pretty funny.

Oh,yeah,I wholeheartedly agree. How many times have we played them where we spotted them a two-touchdown lead right off the bat? I always knew the night was over by then. And I've always said Kyle doesn't do anything fancy,he just does the basic stuff and does it very well.
