MASSILLON, OH —
Despite what the doctors said, Paul Gines was born to run. Even if his biggest hurdle was learning how to walk.
Paul, a Massillon native, was born with a muscular disorder, one that had doctors thinking he may never walk on his own. They provided him with a walker and with braces that went as high as his knees. They told his parents that 90 percent of the people with Paul’s disorder never walk without these aids.
The thing about Paul, though, is that he doesn’t listen when others say there’s something he cannot do.
Paul simply does it.

So GREAT to see this! I have known Paul and watched him run through the neighborhood for years! He is such a nice young man with a kind heart, who always has a smile on his face and a friendly word for anyone who takes the time to chat with him. He always tried to be a peacemaker in the neighborhood amont the younger kids whenever there was a dispute.
Good for you Paul! You are an inspiration to us all :2thumbsup:
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
