good points...BUT HONESTLY WHO CARES....no disrespect toward your post...the only thing the TIGERS AND THEIR FANS (US) can do is worry about IGGY and play our AS S off....The two games we have lost has been because we haven't.....

I thought we played very hard last night up until the fumble.
THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ANY PLAYER WITH THE NAME "MASSILLON" ACROSS HIS CHEST NOT TO PLAY HIS HARDEST EVERY DOWN!
'nough commentary. I don't win and lose ballgames. It's up to the Team to evaluate what they want to do from here out. This is a talented team and a relatively healthy one. They had (have) the ability to beat every team of the regular season schedule.
Go Tigers! Beat St. Ignatius!

There are no guarantees with a 7-3 record. The comment above is how the remaining games must be approached.

I think our o-line is way to big especially on the back side and they dont stay on their blocks at all or block anyone sumtimes, they leave bobby out to dry all the time on pass plays and most of bg's runs r from him just running his balls off and maybe shane or reggie the only secure spots(i think) being the only ones to stay on their blocks. I think if the o-line should look like this:
quick tackle: Reggie
quick guard: Cory Shane
center: Siedler or Bailey
Strong guard: Obradoivich or Arnold
Strong Tackle : Bailey or Whoever can block the edge on pass

If this problem isnt corrected it will be a 10 game season, the last 3 games it is obvious the other team knows what our biggest weakness is on the OL.

exactly 22. i think by now the entire state has seen the weaknesses we have on the OL. we have got to make adjustments NOW. there may not be any more room for error.

I noticed that against Mentor, one of their ends would line up on a serious angle against one of our tackles and simply speed rushed off of the edge and our one tackle just could not get there in time to get an effective block on him. If I was able to spot this, don't you think that other teams are also going to spot it?

they will put one of their better atheletes on the edge and make our lineman have to block them or else bg or bobby will have a hard time really getting anything done. Also i noticed in the game that on sprint out passes that sumtimes our fullback would get not successfully secure the edge where bobby's is running and there would be guys from the backside of the OL and leak through and chase bobby done and get a sack out of it?
If they dont correct this in practice this week you will see bobby getting sacked from every angle by IGGY defenders
What do u guys think we should do with the oline?
Should we start puttin sum of the younger more agile guys in that bust their tales off in practice or should we keep it the same.

amen dude we need to start all over with our oline they looked slow we had kids still in the 3point stance while the linebackers and d-linemen were in the back field.
why do we pass when we are ahead and getting like four yards a carry?
if we are going to make the playoffs this year our biggest weakness that we have to correct is pass protection

we werent running the ball good at all against mentor except for maybe a couple runs tht bg made happen. When the o-line doesnt stay on their blocks to the whistle alot of those short gains u saw could have been at least ten yard runs, if anything i wanna see sumone step this week and take control of our oline, it all starts up front on both the DL and OL in this game. The DL needs a good push so the LB's can make plays and the OL needs to stay on their blocks so we can get the ball down field and hopefully complete 20+ yrds in a pass and get a big run by not just bg being bg , but the oline and bg doin their hardest in the run game. Thats wat i wanna see with the oline. Thats the only way we can take control of this team and win some games

That is exactly what I was talking about it, it was so obvious and Moeller was lining up the exact same way, although Gamble ran right by the end on that side a few times so I think if Huth sees it he should audible into a run play or screen on that side.

The Tigers are still in 6th after the loss to Mentor, a win over St Ig and they will be in 3rd or 4th with a 4-2 record.

anyone know why we never run the option anymore?? i still think in certain situations we will hurt defenses with it because of the speed we have. last year we used it and it shredded defenses. particularly st. ignatius. they just couldn't match speed.

The OL is too big and not agile enough to get outside to block.

How can we run an option with the line being too slow and dont do a good job on staying on blocks. If we could get a more athletic line then maybe we can run an option but not this year maybe next year we can run an option cuz their is some pretty good guys on the jv team that could make an impact for next year but LET"S BEAT IGGY THIS WEEK so i can quit talin about the oline

Because we can't afford to get Bobby hurt. That would be suicidal !!

we could always bring in mcguire to run some sort of play on offense. it doesn't always have to be a option either.

Some might say that's the difference between playing to win and playing not to lose. Pulling your punches doesn't seem to be conducive to maximum effort.

When this season started and we had scheduled Woodson,I thought that they might win 4 or 5 games and help us some in the computer. With what has happened so far this year, all the help that we can get is good. The good news about Woodson is they are 3 and 2 and I think they are going to win the rest of their games and finish 8 and 2 . This would be great. GO TIGERS BEAT IGGY

Huth is too small to run the option. If he decided to keep the ball, he would more than likely get crushed and end up with a 4th concussion!

well, bobby is bigger than he was last year and we ran the option a lot more then. anyway, as stated before, couldn't mcguire come in in situations for something different that the defense hasn't seen?

Bobby doesn't NEED to run! However, out of necessity, we know he CAN run. We have guys that are built to run, let them !!
I would rather have a passing QB that can run, as opposed to a running QB that can pass !!:gogogo:

I don't care whether they run the option, empty backfield or the Wakefield Wing-P. Just win baby!

Well, maybe not the Delaware Wing T !! However, when Shep had Stevie Hymes run that, we did OK !!!!!
