So i am on my way to work turning left @ a light with cars coming at me from the other side. So the light goes yellow. I wait for a Dodge to go past so I can go. Well this silver older BMW who was about 100 feet back from the Dodge keeps going & came really really close to hitting me. I had to gun it on my turn to get out of his way.

So who would of been @ fault? Me or the BMW

Also this light has no turn signal so I could not wait for an arrow.

Yellow does not mean stop....it means proceed with caution......if the BMW was going straight, and the light was still yellow, he had the right of way.......

You never turn in front of oncoming traffic until you know all cars are stopping.

so to be sure all cars are stopped means to wait for the red by this time you have the car behind me were both out in the intersection & now the other road going in the diff direction wants to go.

What's your point? The other road in a diff direction isn't going full speed and won't cause an accident. Wait till the the people opposite of you are comming to a stop before you proceed. The BMW obviously wasn't stopping so I'm not sure why you decided it was ok to go.

Well for one I know Massillon... If I am driving on a road & the light in front of me goes yellow. I look a head of me to see what is coming. I see a car facing my looking to turn right. I know that light does not have a turn arrow & if a line are cars are behind him then im going to stop to let them go.

I guess not everyone thinks the same way huh?
You can't assume someone will stop b/c that's what you do.

I agree. At least wait until your are sure the other car is slowing down and going to stop.

As long as you are IN THE INTERSECTION, wait for all traffic to clear, then LEGALLY make your turn. As long as you ENTER the intersection during a green or yellow light, it doesn't matter what color it is when you complete your turn. The only important thing is that the intersection is CLEAR !!
