Thats a website where you are supposed to be able to post pictures of your dog and members vote on what kind of dog it is. Well its not working correctly right now and I was wondering if anyone knew of any other websites like this. Im trying to figure out exactly what kind of dog I have.

Thanks.

Post a pic, along with his weight in this thread, and someone here will know.

Indi is our 5 month old puppy. A friend of ours found her at a gas station in Indiana so we really have no idea what breed/breeds she could be. We think she may be chocolate lab or beagle because of her coloring. She is very energetic, strong, smart, and playful. She also has a curly tail and she weighs about 30 pounds. I got a little carried away with the pictures! Most of them are recent. The last one is about 20 lbs ago. :-)

I would definitely say she's part Beagle. Her coloring points to a Chocolate Lab, but her size doesn't, so that's a difficult call. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I also think she may be part German Shepard.

Did she take a crap on your rug, or is that SUPPOSED to be a Brown's logo ???

I agree with the Beagle/chocolate lab assessment. She may be small now, but she's got some growin' to do! She's a cutie!

Now, if I can find a good picture of my baby girl, I can let you all try to figure her out!

You sure got a really sweet doggie there. I agree too that she looks like a beagle mix. (Does she HOWL like a beagle?). Whatever she is...she's a keeper. I couldn't stop smiling at these pictures. So cute.

And, from the looks of it, she has officially become a member of
the "dog pound"!

Thanks everyone!

I came across this the other day.

This is a "Black and Tan Coonhound"

The pure breads have larger ears but I can see similarities.

She does howl though.

She hates water! Thats upsets me because my girlfriends parents have a big in ground pool and shes scared of it.

She "shreds" things up. Which I hear is a lab trait?

I just dont know!!!

LOL 2001, any number of breeds are known for their "shredding" habits. I have a little Yorkie and he would shred anything we had left on the floor (magazines, gift boxes, papers, etc) everytime we would dare leave him home alone!

Why don't you take him to your veterinarian for his/her opinion? They are usually pretty good at evaluating mixed breeds. Or you could go down to Petsmart next to Target and Giant Eagle. They have their own animal hospital, so to speak, along with dog groomers who I am sure would be happy to give their expert opinions as well:smile:

:iagree: I have a lab/great dane mix, and he chewed everything in sight when he was a pup - chair legs ( I wondered why that chair was leaning so much!), table legs, corners on the coffee table - you name it, he chewed it.

My other dog prefers things that are stuffed - if it has stuffing in it, don't leave her alone with it! And she doesn't have a speck of lab in her, I don't think...

Whatever Indi is, she's a doll baby! Maybe we'll meet each other at the doggie park!
