Don't have any personal experience with it, but my friend has one for his big screen TV, DVD player, DVR, VCR, surround sound and Video game systems etc. and he loves it.

Although I think the model he has may have only been in the $99 range. His must be an earlier model or one with less features.

I have the 880. It's nice. It takes some time to get things set up. It works 95% of the time. It doesn't always turn everything off or on. It beats having 4 remotes.

time warner remote wont control my avr,dvd

right but how often do you use those? Put a DVD in and push play, DONE. my thinking was your time warner remote is all you need most of the time. so you have to bust out your dvd controller every once in awhile.......is that worth 250.00 ? Also, most of the time your gonna have to get out your original controller anyway because the all in ones will fail with a feature you want to use, happens every time. Seens like a waste of your money......good luck and let us know how it all works out....

Half the time the kids have it all over the house. We have several cable boxes and remotes for all of them. However, I cannot seem to ever find one when I want it.

Paul Brown----my memory is fine and working well for a old man on bumb knees.
