Someone tell Rocco Mediate that he can ground his club. I have no idea how he doesn't hit everything thin. I do LOVE his draw though.

What's the most important part of the game? Putting.
Who's the best putter on tour? Tiger.
His putting is the reason he wins. There's plenty of better ball strikers than him. No one comes close to him in putting though.

Could someone also ask him to wear a nametag so I know who he is....

Rocco's been around for a long time. He's one of the few I can remember from when I was a kid. Isn't he from Pittsburgh or something close in Western PA?

You hit the nail on the head! His putter saved his butt to live another day. Tomorrow should be very interesting! My money is on Tiger...
As an aside, I don't know that there are "plently" of better ball strikers, sure there are some, but only a few...
GO TIGERS...I mean Tiger.

I dunno dude. He's pitiful off the tee. He is very good on approaches though. I'd say there's more than a handful of players who are better ball strikers than him though. Sergio is one of them.. if he ever could learn how to putt he'd win A LOT.

Dear PB:
Somebody "pitiful off the tee" would not be playing in an 18 hole play-off for the U.S. Open. PLEASE put your feelings of Tiger aside and the fact that your boy Mickleson just SUCKS and have fun watching today, OK? And Sergio dresses gay.

Tiger has the best short game in the world. Pitching & Putting are his best. As the saying goes..."Drive for show, putt for dough."

He's got about the least control off the tee of anyone on tour. There's no disputing that. The fact that he wins is due to his short game, not his tee shots. If Tiger didn't work his magic around the green, he's nowhere in contention this week. Phil's just like Tiger except has about half the commitment to golf that Tiger has. Phil is terrible off the tee and is second to none with wedges. Sergio may dress gay, but let me know when's the last time you hit your 7 iron 230 yards.

If I can get a 3 iron 230 consistently I'd be happy. And it doesn't matter how I dress. I could put a garbage bag on and make it look good. :)

In all seriousness though, I can see Tiger withdrawing on the back 9 claiming his knee is hurting.. after he's a few strokes down.

Gosh, I would be FLOORED. I think he has WAY to much respect for the game to do something like that. I would be shocked, PB.

Mediate is from Greensburg, which is near Pittsburgh ("the TRUE City of Champions"......a tagline a Pittsburgher wore at this year's Car Show)!

You don't bogie a par 5 in a playoff, Rocco.
