I wondered how many Lebanese "civilians" have died because an Israeli Terrorist strapped a bomb to himself (with Nails Packed Around It) and walked onto a bus with school children on it and blew himself up?

Then, I wondered how many "innocent Lebanese Civilians" have died because some Hizbollah Thugs were firing rockets toward Haifa out of the back yards of residential homes, and Israeli F-16's dropped smart bombs on those houses and those poor "unsuspecting" people?

this is what happens when an extremest group starts something, innocent people die. this is know different then iraqis using kids and families to hide them selves/weapon. people in cleveland were protesting and calling for peace. that isn't going to happen because like in america you always have a psycho/psychoes willing to kill themselves and other people. I wish there could be peace but it seems like all they know in the mideast is war.

People in the West just don't understand that Islam does not WANT peace. If Israel were disarmed, there would be another Holocaust.

Exactly! Peace is not their objective.........controlling the land and killing their "enemies" is what they live (and die) for!

Exactly. This goes all the way back to when Ismael was dissed by Abraham. It is centuries of this mind-set that will never change. It is up to us to keep them at bay, however.

It may be a long, long time before the civilized world realizes that you just might have to endure wholesale death of the other side's 'innocent civilians' in order to save your own. This goes beyond Israel ... don't think for even one second they would not nuke the U.S. given half a chance.

Sometimes I think it's going to take a mushroom cloud or two to wake up the rest of the world ... and I'd rather they be over them than over us.

I couldn't agree more. This is where we have come. Now it's time for us to either take control of this thing or continue to fight their cowardice war under their terms.

That's what gets me about these people demanding a cease-fire,etc. from Israel in relation to Lebanon. Nobody wants to see innocent people die, but in times of being provoked and attacked, there is no way around it when a country is protecting their own.

In my mind's eye, if you are an innocent victim of war, you will be fairly taken care of by God in the next life.

I admire Israel's strong stance and quick actions when it comes to defending themselves and the fact that they are going to do what they gotta do, regardless of what the rest of the world has to say about it! They give a clear and strong message that if you mess with them you are going to be dealt with with no mercy. That is what the U.S. needs to do instead of worrying about the U.N. and being humanitarians in times of war.

They complain about Israel's "disproportionate" response. I would laugh, except they're serious.

Mess with the bull, expect to get the horns - no, the whole f-ing herd!

what gets me is their chickenshittedness (my new word of the day)...

anyone who cannot face the other person face to face, and has to wear a mask is nothing but a big chickenshit...and you all have known me on here long enough to know that i rarely use that kind of language...but, i can't think of another word that would apply to this situation as well as that...

that is the very thing that bothers me the most about all these terrorists...they hide behind masks and innocent people...and hide in caves...they don't have the guts to look people in the face and do the garbage that they do...men of courage??? i think not!!!

Now Syria wants to be considered as a player in helping "bring-about a resolution to the crisis."

LMAO!!

What is even more funny is that the lib press buys it. Anything to make it look like Israel is the only reason for the problem. Get rid of Israel and (walla!!) all the problems of the world will go away...what will the UN do with themselves then?

The shell game of the Islamic Terroist and their supporting Arab and Persian nations, continues.:Oo:

Unbelievable. The freaking liberal press will do ANYTHING to make the current administration look negative, and to cast our allies in a negative light. He!!, they've even painted Hillary as a freaking MODERATE for God's sake.

So now the US gov't is being sued for not evacuating Americans from Lebanon fast enough. What a joke.

I agree, this doesn't surprise me at all.

I have heard reports that there were over 25,000 US citizens over in Lebanon. Anyone one know why? I know some were on vacation and some visiting families...but what about the people who live there?

I would love to visit Israel sometime, but that isn't going to happen anytime soon. With all the terrorism over there you never know what could happen on any day. I'm not taking that risk. These people are complaining about the US not getting them out quick enough. In my opinion they should be happy that the US is getting them out at all. Lebanon has been a country that the US has had on the do not travel list to for quite some time. These people took a risk going there.

It is going to take the US a little longer to evacuate than European countries. We are a little farther away than them. Of course it will take longer. Also, if we are evacuating 25,000 or so people, that is quite a bit. I bet most other countries didn't have to get that many out. I have heard that some who were evacuated were complaining about conditions on the ships they were on(too crowded, bad food, etc.). They should have turned the ship around and left these people where they were.

Besides strapping bombs packed with nails to themselves and blowing-up innocent Israeli scoolchildren, they now pack innocent Lebanese children in a buliding, keep them hidden and purposely draw an Israeli attack to the building so they'll be killed and world "leaders" like Sec Gen Coffee condemn Israel...

The UN, and most world leaders and the career liberal Democrats and Republicans in the State Department have treated terrorist organizations like The PLO, HAMAS and Hezbollah like they were legitimate national entities...as if they could be reasoned with and brought to the Peace Table :Oo:

Fools!

I don't even get mad - It's so twisted it's stupid!

Props to Israel for saying "Screw the cease fire" and sending in the ground troops. There's no way that Israel is going to win the PR war, so they might as well console themselves with a thorough ass kicking.

AMEN to that! I admire their non PC attitude! It's a lose-lose battle, but they are not afraid to stand up for their people for risk of losing "public" support. I say, screw public support. Do what's right!
