Last year, the Eastern Conference Finals was with LeBron James on his remarkable run to the NBA Finals!
Now the Detroit Pistons and the Boston Celtics are tied at 2-2 going into their fifth game.
Game 5 should be a barnburner. Whoever wins will be a step away from the NBA Finals!
What do you think will be the keys to the game?

CarlE (soon to be RasheedE),
If Detroit wins tonight, I'm going to anoint you as "Rasheed Abdul E." They keep Boston under 85 points, they win going away.

It's about accepting the blood of the soul and pride of Boston...Johnny Most. The Celtics are united and at their peak.
By his blood, we Bostonians shall follow the Celtics and BEAT DETROIT (Pistons, that is)!!!!!!!
:wtf:

ChronicTiger,
If Ray Allen doesn't hit that shot late...Boston doesn't have the advantage going to game 6. The Celtics just wouldn't lay down against the Pistons.
Friday night, we'll see if Kwame Kilpatrick's hometown can force a winner-take-all game 7 or Tony Zarrella's hometown will be celebrating a conference title on RAW's floor.
Detroit must turn this game into a backyard alley fight if they know what's good for them......

MUC,
Face the facts, the Pistons are old and can't compete with the Celtics this year. I do like your idea to re-name Carl RasheedE!

TigerCoach,
It's more of a case of Boston playing at a high level right now and it's a pretty high one at that! And RasheedE...can you imagine him blowing up in a big game! I can see him now......
P.S. You know that RAW has six technical fouls. One more and you know what that leads to.........

Nice move by the blunt-toking, tatooed Muslim thug with the technical to help Boston pull ahead to the point Detroit couldn't catch up. And don't re-name me any freaking radical-ass Mooslim, hoodlum name.

Keno,
If Rasheed doesnt' hit that bong......Boston doesn't have the advantage going to game 6. The Sheed just can't lay down the hippy lettuce.

CarlE,
Detroit was only down four at the time and it was midway through the game...about four minutes at best.
I smiled and laughed at your response to this......thanks for the laughs !
P.S. Where's your buddy TigerswillbeTigers in all of this?

CarlE,
Did you see that Rasheed was fined $25K for swearing and criticizing officials after the loss to Boston? Apparently, his teammate Richard Clay Hamilton spoke up for Wallace saying that the NBA was treating him the way they are "because of who he is and where he comes from."
That was interesting that Hamilton would say that. But don't forget the lambasting you and Seeker gave me regarding my thoughts on Detroit's mayor and his brethren turning on him. That was harder-hitting than the venerable Kamd50 saying my post defending Eliot Spitzer was the worst post she ever saw on MassillonProud.com (can't make em' happy all the time but I respect her opinion).
But back to Rasheed...he has to avoid that technical foul because if gets one more, the series could easily end tonight or Sunday, whichever comes first.
Go Pistons!

Well, who is he and where DOES he come from? What a freaking joke.

CarlE,
Wallace comes from Philadelphia. I don't think Hamilton intended what he said to be racist.

EXACTLY what I expected from the Least of the east Pistons......
Mason was corny as expected.
Rasheed pulled too many bong hits the night before the game and played below his potential AS expected.
Detroit is on vacation.....as expected....

What do the Cavs have to do with anything? They are the same place the Pisons are. Sitting freaking HOME.

Well, I have to swallow this one. I give Boston credit for a series well played. They proved me wrong and showed they were the worthy team in the Eastern Conference and invoked the advantage of the ECF (Eastern Conference Finals) to their advantage and won in one of the toughest gyms in the NBA.
They are a very good team and I wish them nothing but the best of luck against Los Angeles in the NBA Finals.
This is very bittersweet for me...the Pistons are out and the Pittsburgh Penguins are facing the Detroit Red Wings. Go Penguins!
