I got a job offer last week and took it, but before that i had 2 interviews with a different company. Now that this company might offer me next week, what should i do if they do offer me? It might be a better offer and its closer to home. I don't start the other job for another week. Any suggestions??

Don't be wishy washy..make a decision.. if you're wafflleing on this then make a list of the pro's and con's pertaining to both jobs.. think long and hard about that list then make the decision and be at peace with it.

Look for the job that is doing real good so you don't get laid off. Because things are looking real dim.

If you get a better offer and closer to home, you would be wise to take it as long as you are comfortable with the company's reputation and stability, etc.
Do what is best for your own particular circumstances. You are not obligated to the first company. There are a lot of people out there looking for jobs. They will find someone else. Good luck!

1 in the hand is better than 2 in the bush.
Assuming the 1st company you do not prefer offers you a job and you accept.
Reach out to the second employer and let them know you have received an offer from another company, however your first preference is to work for them(2nd company). Ask them for their expected time line for making a final hiring decision. If they want you, it will trigger action with an offer. If no offer, take the first job.
Thank both hiring managers for their time and the opportunity to learn more about their organizations.
