Are there defibrillators in Massillon Schools?

Yes, I am pretty sure all Massillon Schools have one. Our building has one and all teachers have been given instructions how to operate it...some have had even more intense training.

I believe so. I asked the same question a few months ago. Somebody had said there is one on the sidelines of every sporting event at Massillon. As for each school, that I'm not too sure on.

I saw one on the wall at Bowers. Now are the teacher/employees able to use it? I don't know anything about that.

There is training available AED's, but they really are self explanatory. The units have voice commands that guide you through every step. When they were first being developed, they used kindergarten students to see how difficult it was. They had no problems. I've used one before and have seen others use them and have also trained others in their use. Really, really, very simple machines. Contact your local Red Cross if you need more info.
