What do you remember about......

This week and others, many colleges will be having their graduation ceremonies. For me, it was a blessing to graduate with two very great friends of mine, TigerBri being one of the two.

As various seniors obtain their diplomas, what do you recall about the day you walked on stage to receive your diploma?

I recall thinking about everyone who played a role into where I am today and the experiences obtained from being around the right people. There was no greater feeling than to walk across the stage at Mount Union and obtain my diploma while thanking the TRUE people (professors, friends, parents, and others I came across) who helped me get to where I am today.

What do you remember about your graduation the day you got your diploma?

I remember Spring Graduation at OSU in '83 at the Horseshoe.

VP George Bush was the speaker and security was tight. They drove his limo across the Astroturf to the podium. I don't remember alot about his speech (I do recall he tried to capture nearly every major somehow), but I do recall the protesters behing the then-open south end zone shouting "US Out of El Salvador" the whole time- ruining a perfectly good day! As they still do in spring, I did not walk across a podium, but was herded like cattle in one of 6 lines while the presenters asked your name before giving the diploma.
