Guess who's four wins away from their sixth straight Eastern Conference Finals appearance?
That's right. The team that longtimefirsttime, TigerswillbeTigers, CarlE, and others like to hate: the Detroit Pistons. And it wasn't even close. Will Smith's hometown was good but Shawn Hairston's (Michigan Humane Society investigator who has never lost an animal cruelty case) hometown was tougher.
My advice to anyone who faces the Pistons in the East: they will be eliminated and anyone else who knows something about it will too be eliminated.
That was an angry Pistons team I saw last night and they are determined to take back the conference title. Everyone in the East better watch their backs...Detroit is for real!

Guess who had nothing to say about these tree burning slackers until they had the series in hand?

i'm not sure if anyone is really scared to play detroit in the playoffs. all they have done is underachieved ever since flip took over as the head coach.

Exactly--- he does not have the FIRE to lead Detroit to the Championship. The defense fell off as soon as larry Brown left---worst mistake Joe Dumars made as GM. Last year with the roster and experience they had it should of been their year but LBJ stole it from them because LACK of DEFENSE.
Boston--LA in the Championship this year--- JMO

being a cavs man, i hate saying that i think orlando might get out of the east. they have a great balance of outside shooting and howard is just an animal. cavs and celtics should be a pretty entertaining series IMO.

crazysob04,
Orlando will not beat Detroit. Phil Flip Saunders knows the Magic inside and out and his legion of Pistons will expose them again like they did last year.

Orlando out of the east. Are you kidding me? They are soft as dairy queen.

Farmer Harold,
Orlando isn't as tough as Detroit is. The Pistons will sweep them out and I don't expect the Cleveland or Boston winner to overtake the red and blue in a potential conference final.
Detroit is playing like an angry team right now and everyone else had better step out of the way!
P.S. Did you read Rasheed Wallace's comment in the paper? "You can't rattle us. We ain't no punks." I thought that was factual and to the point.

CarlE,
Why you have to be saying that about the Black Muslim? He's never disrespected you in any kind of way.
I bet you wouldn't say that to him personally.

Then you don't know me at all, young Keno. He disrespects the human race every time he shows his thug face in public.

CarlE,
Rasheed Abdul Wallace has never disrespected anyone in public. He's never jacked anyone, knocked someone down, pulled a gun on anyone, or done worse.
Your aversion is so high...I bet you have eschewed your son from watching him on TV.

My son has no interest whatsoever in watching a bunch of tatooed, dope-smoking thugs run up and down a basketball court too small for them in the first place.

i'm sorry but it was pretty obvious that the cavs rattled the pistons last year. hell, even the year before as well when the huge underdog cavs took them to a game 7 and came up just short. the pistons are washed up. they are no longer the team out of the east, and it's about time that you come to terms with that.

In all honosty---- Rasheed Wallace has the potential to be the best PF in basketball but refuses to play every minute of the game and bring it every night!!!
A big man is supposed to be a beast on the boards and get grimy in the post!!!!
Remember before the season started I said the Lakers would be real good with or without the KG trade and everyone laughed!!! Best team in the league and has the best player and I hope they can win it all this year!

ChronicTiger, crazysob04, and CarlE,
You are all a bunch of Detroit haters. And I don't believe the entire Pistons legion would like what they are seeing if they were reading MassillonProud.com.
ChronicTiger,
Starting with you. RAW has an NBA championship ring so you're in no position to say he has no mental toughness. RASHEED (not Weed) is one of the more multitalented forward/centers in the game whose emotion and fire drives the hometown of Kid Rock.
crazysob04,
Everyone thinks Boston will win the East, I vehemently differ. Detroit's defense will take out the Boston-Cleveland winner. Last year, I'll give Cleveland that they defeated Detroit but also, Detroit beat themselves. Aside from that debacle, the Pistons are still the most physical team in the East and their dominant defense will carry the men of Jerome Bettis' hometown as long as they can go.
CarlE,
You told Andrew something about the Pistons. I know you did. Whatever you told him, it worked in your favor.
And I thought I had it worse from Tina and Dana...who aren't big on the three-time NBA champions from Sugar Ray Robinson's hometown...you just took the cake.
Keep it up you Detroit haters with your second-rate bullship (misspelling intended). See if the Pistons aren't in the NBA Finals when this is said and done.
You all watch......http://www.nba.com/pistons/news/playoffs_splash.html
