ha, that sounds like a indiana jones title. anyway, you all here bout the china/tibet troubles, what exactly is the problem? is it religion? im assuming it is. But arnt the tibet monks budist? and so arnt the chins? can someone help me out?

Okay, in a nutshell....Tibet was its own empire. China didn't like that and wanted to rule them. The Chinese came in and were forced out a few times and look where we are now! :doh:

I really liked this movie. Brad Pitt has a really poor Austrian accent (guess he should have taken lessons from Arnie!) but once you get past that, it is a pretty interesting story. Its only one part of an age old fight, but it really gives you an idea of the injustice. I mean, why can't these poor people just be left alone to do their thing? Oh well. Read up on it and tell me what you think.
