Massillon court will allow you to 'Ask-A-Lawyer' today

Have a legal question? Local lawyers will be giving free legal advice today at 2 p.m. in Massillon Municipal Court.

The session, to be taped for Massillon Cable Court TV, is part of the Stark County Bar Association's annual Law Week celebration. The public is invited.

A separate nontelevised version of "Ask-A-Lawyer" will run from 7 to 9 p.m. May 6 and 7. The toll-free phone number is 1 (877) LAW-WEEK.

Area lawyers will be available by phone to answer questions about criminal law, family law and employment law, as well as other topics.

If callers' questions can't be answered, they'll be referred to lawyers through the Bar Association

You beat me to it!

Free legal advice is worth exactly what you pay for it.

My my my,You "boys" are such cynics:rolleyes: Now, if this were a regular, ongoing program, I might tend to agree. But this is obviously, a one-time deal coinciding with a particular celebration. Somebody tries to do something nice or beneficial to others and they still get criticized by some:wall:

To me it seems like free advice might be alot more honest and frank. Al & Seeker (nor I) might not need this service but I am sure many others do.
