Legends not quite back up for bids

MASSILLON, OH — A second attempt to sell 50 acres of the Legends of Massillon golf course will have to wait at least two more weeks.
Massillon City Council failed to come up with the votes needed to advertise for the sale of the land, a motion that needs the support of seven members.
But council debated the urgency of such a move.
“I don’t understand the haste here,” Councilman Larry Slagle said. “I don’t think we have all the facts.”
Others disagreed.
“I say we don’t waste any more time,” Councilman Donnie Peters added.........

Nice move by Mr. Inept Councilman Peters voting NOT to excuse Councilman McCune because of a family illness. Real class there, guy. Real class. Who does he represent anyway?

Dave's father happens to be hospitalized which is and should be his first priority right now. Peters really has made himself look like an uncaring ass with such an ignorant objection.

I didn't really want to be that blatant, but yeah what you said. And it's Dave's FATHER? Peters, how classless.

Peters needs not take his self so serious. He can be a good councilman, not if he has a stroke first.
