Tunnel Fireworks

I thought the fireworks that went off while the team ran on the field were very cool. The first thing everybody said was, "why don't we do that every week?"

So....can it be done? Thoughts?

I dont know about you, but the fireworks n the smoke really got me pumped up for the start of the game. And judging by the second play of the game, I think the same goes for the boys in orange n black. It may be a long shot to ask for them every home game, but atleast do it for the Mckinley game!! ANYTHING to help us bring home the victory bell to be repainted

I think they are cheaper than you think !! Back in the day, an old friend of mine, Bob Gogerty, (RIP), used to donate all the fireworks. He owned a local fireworks shop.

I'm sure that someone with the proper licensing could help us out. Remember, Massillon boosters have DEEP pockets !! :rockin:

Did you see Mark Fortner checking out the turf for burns after the fireworks? That's why we won't be doing it again. Besides, I like the smoke better.

Stay with the tunnel, the smoke, the bombs outside the stadium, the band, the cheerleaders, the live Obie, the human Obie, the blow up Obie, and the Tiger fans....I think that is enough.

I was worried. When I saw that the Tigers side had the cord stretched across their paths vs the other side that was well out of the way I turned to my brother and said I hope they are getting a briefing that there are dangerous fireworks around them and there is a dangerous cord that could trip them! I envisioned chaos as Bobby and Brian G. came out and tripped over the cord then burst into flames as we all watched in horror!! :wow:

They seemed a little to close to be safe. There would have been a lot of law suits if that stunt went wrong! Thankfully they went off withou a hitch and our fearless Tigers provided a grand finale to the likes I never expected!! Awesome game!
