Great win by the Varsity Tigers tonight! Tigers were down 4 - 0 going into the bottom of the 5th, then came back to win 8-4. With a man at 2nd and 3rd, the batter laid down a bunt and both runners came into score. Great call!

You know, I might be wrong about this, so please forgive me and correct me if I am wrong, anyone! But I think it might have been Pape on the bunt, I just can't remember for sure. They had put Berbari in as a pinch runner once the batter had gotten to second, and he was half way to third as soon as the pitcher released the ball, and they both took off for homeplate almost before the batter started running for first. It was really fun to watch.Yoder started out pitching, but once they put Clark in, they didn't score any more runs. Clark did a fantastic job!

I also apologize if my technical baseball lingo is not up to par for some,lol

Clark seems to be a solid pitcher. I dont know about his endurance. In the Central game he was almost flawless till the 7th inning. Idk if it was him or Central but they started smackin the ball all over the place. There was an error or 2 but pitchers cant let errors get to them. Its hard but you gotta stay focused and get the job done.

Yea, but you gotta give Central credit, they always field a good baseball team. And Clark did get the job done today:thumbsup:

Oh I do. Central is usually talented. Ive watched them more than once this season they have some pretty good players. Thats good he has an arm.

Great strategy by the coach and obviously the bunt had to be perfect. Great job guys. Congrats on the big win. Sounds like an exciting one.

The right call at the right time and proper execution of the call is a deadly combination. Those are exciting to watch. Slider, out!!!
