That was a big win on Saturday, but we have an even bigger game this coming Friday. A lot of people have been overlooking this Mentor team but they are ready for us. As usual, this is the biggest game of the year for our opponent. They have been talking, preparing, and gunning for us all offseason. We have to be ready. We have to keep the intensity high as we pass through this stretch of games. This week and next week, we have the chance to turn ourselves from a good team, into a great team. But it will only happen with focus, drive, and determination. We saw once again what happens when we are asked to rise to a challenge. It is time to do that again.

Stay focused.
Practice hard.
Get it done.

Beat Mentor.

I was shocked to hear Iggy beat Mentor this past weekend. Mentor is an excellent team and I wonder if it is possible they were looking past Iggy to Massillon. I thought Mentor was the second best team we played last year in the regular season and they have everyone back this year. Slider, out!!!

Mentor will be prepared for us. I'm sure we will be prepared as well. Let's continue to use Moeller as a reminder and as inspiration to give our very best on every play.

Watch the video called "Wholehearted" at this link - It will inspire you!

I think every kid on our football team can have this kind of heart!

Go Tigers!!!

Mentor had a "young team" last year and thought they should have beaten the Tigers. They have been waiting for this one and will be ready. Go Tigers!

Mentor has been pointing to this game since last year. In fact, this might be the biggest home game they've ever had. According to the PD, they're expecting to sell 10,000 tickets for a 7,800 seat stadium.

We know several things:
- Mentor has a very good team that will be sky-high come Friday.
- This is more than even a playoff game for the Cardinals. They're looking to make a statement about their program in front of the whole state and national TV.
- We have 4,000 tickets to sell.
- We have the ability to take over another team's stadium (see St. Ed, 2000).

It's time to suck it up and show those boys how it's done at the top.

FWIW,One of the coaches told my son that Glenville got homered by the officials at Mentor, something like 150 yards in penalties, and thinks the outcome of that game would have been different if it wasn't for that.

The game was played at Browns stadium and yes it was a tad overofficiated imo but did not feel Glenvillle got homered.

What are the pre sale numbers so far ? GO TIGERS Reportedly they were close to the presale numbers for the Herbstreit. However it's still early in the week and I hope that improves.

I need an extra ticket for my son (this will be his first big away game). I won't make it to the ticket office today. Does one of our MP crew members have one I can purchase at the tailgate tomorrow?
