Well, assuming that the games will go on as scheduled, today our Tiger baseball teams start off their seasons against the bulldogs.

I want to wish our new HC , his staff, and all 3 teams good luck for the 08 season:tig:

Welllllllll, for anyone who was planning on going to any of the games this afternoon, you can stay home and watch the Tribe instead as all games have been canceled.

i had a feeling that the games would be cancelled. was it because the field is not completed? i drove by there on sunday and it looked like they only had part of the warning track put in.

thanks to all of the hard workers making Ducky Schroeder field look beautiful. Your hard work does not go unnoticed!

Play the games at night when people aren't working and more would show up.

lol, That would be all fine and well if the kids didn't have to get up at 6 the next morning for school, TC:poke:


I think that the fields were just too muddy since we had more rain late Sunday night. It's a darn shame. I know the parents and boys put in a lot of hard work Saturday mornning at the duck and then some still spent more hours that same afternoon in worse conditions out at community park where it was half frozen/half mud raking and getting the fields ready. With any luck, maybe they will be dry enough to play on tomorrow.

Thank you for providing the new link, Tigress. I like that they are using an Obie logo designed for baseball along with the MW and the new logo.

Now, if we could just get some baseball weather:crap:
