Steelers receiver bitten by the fangs of "Angry Jayne"

As if I hadn't heard the news, the Pittsburgh Steelers yesterday released wide receiver Cedrick Wilson after he was charged in punching his girlfriend in the face during a heated discussion.

That was very disheartening to hear from a guy who was one of the world champions on that 2005 team. No man should ever punch a woman no matter how upset they are. On top of this, James Harrison is also facing the same charges of striking his girlfriend though it remains the extent of that to be seen

The venom of "Angry Jayne" really got to him (Wilson) in the worst of ways possible. I hope he can recover from this.........and I hope Harrison gets himself together too.

Being a devout fan of the five-time world champions, this is something I don't condone. I'd rather see the Steelers knocking opposing players out of games (our tradition) rather than knocking out women, as in the cases of Wilson and Harrison.

Wilson has apologized and is seeking counseling.

My assistant moderator Lauren just got back to me on Mr. Wilson. He is a disgrace to Dennis Miller's hometown!! No man should ever hit a woman, EVER! I'd rather men get their bones broken by the black and gold rather than seeing a man hit a woman!
