From where I was it seemed like the crowd tonight was electric! Jim, was it as loud as I think on the field tonight?

i really felt that for the first time in a while our fans were a factor in the game. the players were urging us on all throughout the game. i hope it continues to be that way in the future. it certainly was loud at the stadium.

I think many people let lose a bit when they are not in their normal seats......
It was a great atmosphere!

I thought it felt like a playoff game. I do think we were the 12th man this game.

In terms of noise and intensity, that was the best home crowd that we have had in YEARS! :trophy: We were the 12th man last night! Those Hamilton folks must think that we are insane! Wow, what a ball game!

The crowd was a throwback to years past. Everybody getting on their feet when we needed a defensive stand. Crazy from before the game until the final whistle. It really was a thing of beauty.

Definately a PLAYOFF ATMOSPHERE !!! The noise was deafening. Still can't believe that we had Massillon folk on the "visitor's side " :help:

um yeah you realize that most of the "away side" is reserved for massillon season ticket holders durring the regular season right?
it was an alright from where i was at sound wasnt to bad the crowd played more of a factor at the dover game more than any other massillon game that i have seen

It seemed that everyone was just in such a great mood!!

We did have quite a "fan" sitting a few rows in front of us though. He shouted 'OVERRATED" (to AZ) when the game was almost over and our whole area booed him loudly.

Great sportsmanship, guy.:sour:

AS far as the visitors' side was concerned, most of us that sit there during the regular season chose to sit over there again last night..........
It's always a good opportunity to get some new blood in your section every week - And have a few good conversations with the other teams' fans.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised !! Last week at Cincy, there were many a Massillon fan on the visitors side! Why do they even have sides ??:stars: :wall:

When a fan yells, "overrated," at the opponent, what is he saying about his own team? Such a chant appears to be saying, "You guys must really stink if you lose to the likes of us!"

I couldnt believe that last week in Cincy, must be a bunch of vampires among Tiger fans and they were afraid to be in the sun. There wont be an option this week I know the away side will be rocking in Mentor on Friday.

We'll probably have more fans there than they do. Ya gotta sit somewhere.

It definitely beats what I heard from a group of students in the first game. There was no need to chant "overrated" to them. It was a hard fought game on both sides. Their fans could have easily "talked trash" on this website prior to the game. They didn't. They easily could have chanted something when they were up 17-7 late in the 2nd quarter. They didn't. They gave respect and got it in return.
