Bush endorsement may be risky for McCain
By DEB RIECHMANN, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 24 minutes ago
WASHINGTON - Beware, John McCain. The money comes with a price. Sure, President Bush will raise millions of dollars for your Republican presidential campaign and GOP candidates. But he'll also give you the aura of a presidency tarnished by painful gasoline prices, a sagging economy, the threat of recession, a blemished U.S. reputation around the world, turbulence in the Middle East and many more problems.

All a political tradition and in fact political edicate. This probably will be one of the last times you will see McCain and Bush pictured together or appear together. Traditionally, a sitting President fundraises during the election year(he is still effective at it) and campaigns only in states that are a pretty sure thing for his party's candidate. Places like Texas, Arizona, Most Southern States, all places where McCain is not likely to lose.

But how about that little tap dancing routine and then the later comment about if McCain wants to use his (Bush's) pretty face? For a minute there, I thought maybe George was feeling a little tipsy or something LOL

I've thought Bush seemed tipsy for almost 8 years now. I agree with Reofan. Bush's endorsement is necessary for the party but I doubt he'll play any big part in the campaign process.
