Did anyone read about this or hear about it? I was shocked that rapper The Game (Jayceon Terrell Taylor) got a 60-day jail sentence for FIRING a gun at some kids on school property (or something like that).
No one was hurt but how the heck did he get a slap on the wrist? Anyone of those kids fired on could have been injured or worst case, killed!
If it were anyone else, they would have gotten a stiff prison sentence but Taylor gets 60 days in jail? Now if the justice system is saying it's OK for a rapper to fire a gun at kids on school property, then that is a demeaning, awful, malicious, negative shame and does not paint a good picture for youths.
He should have gotten something stiffer but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
Shocking .........

TigerCoach,
I just read about another rapper situation involving Tony Yayo...the 29-year-old got 10 days of community service for giving menacing looks to a 14-year-old kid. The looks were intended to scare the young man.
You know, I don't know what gives these people the right to get away with what they do.
Just because you're making millions doesn't mean you're permitted to hurt someone.

It just means its easier to get away with.....

To fire at small kids is a stupid and egregious mistake...what did they do to The Game? All I am thankful for is that none of those kids were hit by any bullets.
I know this also: mothers on here would be hotly livid over this!
P.S. lobbs, I don't listen to rap music as much as I used to. With all the crap going on involving it, I just don't have time for that.

I think rap and hip hop is vulgar, evil and is destroying the fabric of our society by having such a horrible negative effect on the morals of our young people.
Also, it is making the white kids act like black kids in all the wrong ways.
That's exactly how my grandpa felt about rock 'n roll.
I am now officially over-the-hill.
I often find myself doing that which I swore I would never do when I myself became a parent of teenagers...I walk in the door and scream:
"TURN THAT SH*T OFF!"
