lobbs…I can overlook a lot of the grammar errors and the weirdness. And, you seem like a pretty likable kid.

But, you sure did know how to spell Jesus Christ and use it in a derogatory way…(know what I mean???)

Lobbs...if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. You ramble on and on...expecting people not to say anything about your spelling, lack of punctuation, etc. I believe you put half the stuff in your posts just to see what type of a response you will get. When someone puts something in to rib you...you go ballistic!! Chill out!! I can only hope that if you are in college, you do know how to spell. Believe me when I tell you...it will help you with employers down the road. Bad spelling, bad grammar, and the lack of, or improper use of, punctuation doesn't mean you are stupid to an employer...it means you are lazy. If you look at other threads, you will find people ribbing people about their spelling, etc. It is not a direct slam on you. It is what we do. Now as for using Jesus Christ in you response...that is bad. I for one would appreciate it if you do not use those words as profanity again. I know you are young...you can either learn from this or continue flying on your own. Once again...just advice. Please don't cuss at me. :stars:

Everyone cares. The English language wasn't intended to be butchered just b/c you weren't being graded on it. It would behoove you to learn the language properly... both in your scholastic and professional career later. There's no excuse to butcher it in the meantime... it does nothing for you except reinforce bad habits in grammar.

That probably wouldn't be a great response to a interviewer when you are trying to get a job. Speaking and writing effectively and politely is a form of respect. As Coach Shepas used to tell you, in order to get respect, you must give respect.

When referring to God or Jesus, the "G" in God and the "H" in "his" should always be capitalized.

I.e.: "And God forgive me for using His name in vain."

Stick around. I guess it does indeed take a village to raise a child, and we here on MP will have to take over where your Government and English teachers let you down.

You should really have to pass some sort of common sense test before you can post.

Just a suggestion. Some people really make this public forum intolerable.

If you come to the table, at least bring something with you.

It's alot cleaner now. The factories that use to dump their waste into it aren't here any more. My wife and I fish there. We usually catch-and-release. We caught large and small mouth bass, crappie, blue gill. My wife caught a fish Ohio blue gill. Saw an eight inch tusky muskie hit my bait as I reeled it in. People say that there are some pretty big muskies in there. Would I eat the fish out of there? Now? Yes. But not too much at one time.

I dont know if its really the correct answer, though. That river is as dirty as ever and all of the companies in dover and phila that are along the tusc still dump in the river. Union Camp or whatever its called now still does, Dover Chemical has pipes that go underneath 77 and dump directly into the river.

What Massillon Catholic fails to tell you is that only treated water of a certain temperature can be put back into the tusc.. no one is dumping chemicals in it. The EPA fine for that would close most of those companies and yes, the EPA checks on everyone.

Then go drink some

You could if you boiled it and killed the bacteria and parasites. It's fresh water; It's not treated water, MC.

Those are pike. There is a pretty good population of them in the Tusc. Smallmouth bass as well.

Down below Dover Dam.

The better fishing starts after Zoar.

The Butler, thanks for letting me know that those are pike. I've been calling them tusky muskie for so long I'll still be calling them that first then I'll correct myself. I like the sound of tusky muskie. Munson, I caught my fish mainly in Massillon. I fish at the spillway between the Lake and Cherry st. bridges, the area directly south of the Cherry st. bridge, and the tunnel south of the former and future Tremont bridge. The water at the tunnel comes from the resie which in turn comes from Sippo Lake, that puts a lot of fish in that area. Massillon Catholic I was only speaking about the water in this area. Since I haven't fished in the Tusc. down there, I don't know what it's like. But in this part I've seen the change. I remember when it was Cuyahoga River-like.

I fish the little channel between the river and lake off of 77 in new phila. Catfish and turtle all night long.
