i can't even imagine how something like that could happen. i mean, i can imagine it happening, but can't imagine how someone could put their child in a such a position to have something like that happen.

there's a legal term that most law students learn in their first year of law school........res ipsa loquitur. it basically refers a situation where something just doesn't normally happen without someone being negligent. this is a perfect example.

i really hope that it was just some freak accident, and not due to any negligence. either way, i agree. i can't imagine how awful they feel right now. that's got to be the worst feeling in the world.

My neighbor had a grandchild die in a simlar fashion. What a tradgedy! What happened was the mother was in the shower and the 18 month old baby was in the bedroom. The baby climbed the TV stand, which had shelves, and the TV tipped forward and crushed the babies chest. Horrible.

I don't know? At that age, they have the ability to crawl out of cribs.

I know what happened and let's just say it's an unfortunate tragedy and I'm sure the parents feel awful.....I know the Paramedics that responded to the call do.
