Well, it should be an interesting day in the Presidential primary elections tomorrow, but please consider something else on the ballot in Massillon.

The Massillon Museum needs your support badly! They last had a tax levy pass in 1988, and it wasn't indexed for inflation. So, they've been working with less dollars each year to operate. If you haven't been to the Massillon Museum in a few years, you really should go check it out (it's free for you cheapskates, they take donations). Christine Shearer, the Executive Director has really done a terrific job down there since taking over. I won't explain, you'll just have to go check it out. But, in this world of celebrity endorsements, I urge you to vote for the Massillon Museum. (Not that I'm a celebrity or anything, LOL)

I like you TC, but dont you think its unfair to push for a levy when you dont live in the area to be taxed?

This is a levy that I feel represents the future of our community. It is a major drawing card for retail , families and business, and in my opinion, anyone who would vote against is nuts!... ISSUE #6 is The Massillon Museum Levy, LET'S DO THIS!

On the GOP side, I highly suggest Matt Miller for U.S. House to replace Regula (who is retiring). I have met him a couple times and he is down to earth, and even drove to Massillon during that storm that hit Navarre with a tornado a couple years ago to meet with a few people at the M.A.R.O. summer picnic... mind you this is AFTER he lost in the primary to Regula a couple years ago. This guy cares, he isn't just somebody the party picked who feels the position should be given to him.

Miller - he is a great guy...one that will continue where Regula left off.
Park
Paul

Those are the only individuals I feel comfortable voting for.

Sav4pres: Park no good. Had to go with Schuring, although in the general election I will cross-party lines and vote for Boccieri. Expect to see him at the annual mass/mck bash.

Give me some info on Boccieri next time we talk. If it's good, i'll cross with you.

No, I don't think so. If there were a school levy to benefit Massillon kids, I would support it also, even if I don't live in Massillon. I think the cause is justified and needed in this case.

I don’t vote for every levy that is out there, but in the case of the Museum, I am.

There are such wonderful displays and programs and it is a real asset to Massillon. (Besides…Oscar needs a home)!!
