The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a setback today. Longtime and retired announcer Myron Cope, the founder of the Terrible Towel passed away today at 79. He was a longtime announcer, Steelers fan, and well-loved by the black and gold fans.
He was also part of the WDVE radio crew with lead announcer Bill Hillgrove and Tunch Ilkin up till the end of the 2004 season.
He will be missed. Rest in peace Myron.........
