This is absolutely great! I am so glad to hear of this. Some friends and I were just talking about how we miss the comedy club that used to be right over on Fulton Rd back in the day. We saw Drew Carey there as the opening act for some guy that none of us can even remember his name now:jestera:

I think I saw that same act. Didn't Drew Carey open for some guy named Keno Sultan?

No, but I hear the guy is a cruise ship entertainer now. By the way, were you that guy sitting in front of me who's head I couldn't see over? LOL And hey, look at all this snow today, perfect for playing outside with the little ones:wink:

Very funny there! Haha! Now I have 2 of you to deal with. Yea, the snow looks great to go out and play with the kids, but I'm just getting over 5 days with the flu and don't want to invite it back.

You are the first person that I have heard of having the flu. I just heard on the news last night how the flu shot that everyone got wasn't even for the flue strain that is going around. So, at least you know it wouldn't have done you any good anyhow, lol. But come on, everybody knows you don't get a cold/flu from going out in the cold!!!

I know that, but I still don't have my energy level back. (no jokes about age here are appropriate) We took our daughter (19 months) to the doctor and she had Influenza Type B, which was not covered under this years flu vaccine. When we went to the pharmacy for some medicines for her, the pharmacist said he had filled 125-150 orders for Tamiflu. So, for everyone that got your flu shots, you better wash your hands often!

LOL, I know I am gonna end up paying for that:wow:
I hope that your daughter and yourself recover quickly. Seems like the little ones usually bounce right back, it's us "mature" ones that have a harder and harder time recuperating when we get bit by the bug.
I've never even had Tamiflu for any of my family. Is that supposed to make the symptons less harsh?

'Scared Scriptless'; A local comedy improv group did a show at the Lincoln last Thursday as a museum levy event. We shot a portion of the show for COMMUNITY NEWSWATCH. It will air this Sunday evening at 6pm on MCTV Channel #22.

'Scared Scriptless' is awesomely funny. They may be the opening act at 'The Uncomfortables" show, but I'm not sure of that yet.
Its great because often times the jokes appeal to local people. You'd only get them if you were from the area.
IF you get a chance go see them! I'm sure they'll be doing more shows at the Lincoln soon.
