Jt is going to light up the camp circuit this spring with his ability. Just wait until the nation sees him at RB!
OSU---March 29, 2008!!! Nike Camp--JT is registered and anyone else who is going into the senior season should register now!!!!!!!!

I thought he wasn't good enough to play offense?

Funny! Coach Zook asked if he wanted to play offense or defense in the BigTen!
JT replied---
anywhere you need me to win Coach

And I'm sure that attitude didn't just start, it's been with him for years. Unfortunately, he's been held back.

I think you are 100% correct about him! That just adds to what type of person he is. To be held back like he has been and not to hear a peep about it from him shows the type of kid he is. Great to see that we have a leader like this with out Tigers.

Congrats to Justin. Best of luck and much success the year. Can't wait to see you on the field in the right position. Keep humble like you have been.

Mentor him to stay away from the girls, unlike his father did in high school! LOL!

I dont know if it is appropriate for the thread or not but 2 days ago i told him:
Stay off the streets, keep hitting the books.I am taking him to Nike camp so we get to spend the weekend next month talking! I love the kids attitude and his willingness to learn any and everything positive you teach him.

I think we have some hard nosed kids who want to be tigers and should be very solid at the skill positions and Lb's for sure.

Monte,

As usual, thin on the lines, especially D-line. But like Monte said we usually have some skill guys.
Brian Arelt is the only d-lineman I know of. Unless Rose gets moved there. LB's Price and Leno return.
I am excited about Turner & Love in the backfield. Especially JT, on both sides. And I will be interested to see how Partridge develops at QB. Coach's son w/ good size and lots of upside. Plus Sean Clark returns at fb, as well as Nickles, so we should have a decent backfield. I will be shocked if the O-line isn't much improved (not necessarily saying alot there). Guys like Myers, Wade, Westfall, Dingler, Erlitz, Pedro at TE...if they work hard, could be a good group.

Dont forget Ivan at db. Erlitz is gone he went back to Jackson.
