Tressel again honored by Ohio football coaches

Ohio State's Jim Tressel, who guided the Buckeyes to the national championship game in what had been seen as a rebuilding year, was chosen Ohio college football Coach of the Year by his statewide colleagues in voting conducted by The Columbus Dispatch. The honor, announced Sunday, was the second straight for Tressel.
Five other coaches received more than 10 votes in the survey: Mike Kelly of Dayton, Dale Carlson of Ohio Dominican, Greg Debeljak of Case Western Reserve, Mike Hallett of Heidelberg and Larry Kehres of Mount Union.
