National signing day is 20 days away. With the clock ticking down, many people are giving their final pleas as to why Terrelle Pryor, the nation's No. 1 recruit according to Rivals.com, should go to their school.
Todd Porter, a columnist for the Canton Repository, gave his pitch for Pryor coming to Columbus. Below is an excerpt from that column:.....................

Pryor will end up at Michigan. The offense instilled by Rodriguez is a fit for him.

too bad he'll have no receivers to throw to..........or a dominant left tackle to protect him........or a dominating running game to support him.
hey pryor: you better be fast b/c if you go to michigan you'll be running for your life!

SuperBran,
Remember Vince Young? Every time he touched the ball for Texas, he always scored.
Getting Pryor is MANDATORY for the Wolverines. Get him......Michigan will be looking at a potential two or three Big Ten titles along with potential wins over Ohio State.
And yes...Pryor can score every time he touches the ball.

one guy's not going to make that big of a difference. he can't do it alone, and if he goes to michigan then next year he'll have to.

it's not about michigan developing qbs, it's about RR developing qbs.

I'm going to say that Pryor does not end up at Michigan. I have no "inside sources," like some on here. Heck, I don't know anyone. Just a hunch. I really think there is a good chance that OSU ends up with him.

i really don't think that either osu or michigan will end up with him. he's leading people on so that his decision is a shock to everyone. that's why he wore a michigan sweater, and why he was showing off the buckeye decal on his helmet.
honestly, i'm about sick of hearing about this guy. i wish he would just marry brittney spears so that they can entertain themselves.

I have to agree with you 100%. When you stop and think about it, it really is ridiculous on us fans part to spend soooo much time on where a 17 or 18 year old kid goes to school, what he says, etc.

When Pryor signs at UM the blue chips are coming as well! If not in this class but next years class will be loaded with spread offense guys to win football games. Blue chips follow blue chips and the junior class are already talking if you know recruiting.

It doesn't look like TP will be visiting LSU or Oregon by Feb. 6. So it seems as though he will choose between OSU, Michigan, and Penn State. (unless he decides not to announce on signing day.)
I still think TP will be at Ohio State thanks inpart to several OSU recruits such as Brewster.

Ohio State football leading for top recruit Terrelle Pryor, says prep coach
Jeannette (Pa.) High School quarterbacks coach Roy Hall said Tuesday that both Ohio State coach Jim Tressel and Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez are planning to be in the stands to watch Pryor play in Jeannette's home basketball game on Saturday night........................
Hall, who has known Pryor since his pee wee football days and accompanied him to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio four weeks ago, believes Pryor will be a Buckeye. ............................

Two differant animals because Clausen has the arm but Pryor has the arm and the feet! That is kinda like comparing J. Zwick to Troy Smith---pro style QB to madden highlight real! Clausen however will shine before his ND career is over just like Zwick would have if he not have been listening to everyone in Massillon screaming Buckeyes! I knew that eventually he would sit at OSU behind Smith and should have went to Kentucky, UT, etc,... in the first place.
Kamd50---Pryor is going to UM from what I have been hearing but we will see!!!

This message is approved by a Michigan man.........
863 wins...42 Big Ten titles...11 national championships...the best fans in the Big Ten...most winningest college football program in the nation. The University of Michigan has had the best athletes step on the field at Michigan Stadium on every Saturday of the college football season.
Terrelle Pryor has a chance to be one of those next Michigan legends. If he wants to be the best...wear the maize and blue. If he wants to be second rate...wear the scarlet and gray.
It's time to turn the tide...and Pryor is the one to make it happen! Pryor to Michigan 2008!
This is from a Michigan man and it is approved.

If Ohio State pulls out of the Pryor sweepstakes, they can forget about beating Michigan for the next three or four years.
Don't be so quick to judge Pryor as a head case. These are intense moments in his life, as is the case for other recruits.

It seems like TP wants OSU and his dad wants Penn State. He gets along really with Brewster.
The delay only hurts OSU and Michigan, imo, and really helps Penn State
I saw one press conference where TP talks about getting on a plane and going out to Oregon. Then in another interview he says all 3, Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan still have a chance and doesn't mention Oregon.

UM grabbed the top Rb in Ohio (Shaw) from PSU and the and a 4star WR from the same school that verbeled to Purdue(Roundtree). 2 great steals for RR and his UM staff at the last minute. RR has a few more tricks up his sleeve from what I am hearing up North.
Tiller(Purdue coach) is steaming mad at the situation.

All this kid is doing is taking up a spot for some other recruit that wants to play for OSU. If he's too good enough to choose on the day EVERYONE else does, he's not good enough for OSU. Those LOSERS up north can have him!

Well, my opinion is this. If he's decided to play only football, and he didn't announce on signing day, I have to believe that Joe Pa put the full court press on him at least enough to delay his decision.
