from what I hear Massillon went 3-0-2. They tied Jackson (one score each I think, score 2 to 2, Jackson scored on last play of game) and beat Lexington by 1 score (8 to 6). Huth did not play versus Lexington and Lexington scored on the last play to tie it, but it was ruled time was up. They also beat Amherst Steel by a couple of scores (12-4, Gamble had 2 picks). It was a weird 7 on 7, 2 points awarded for a td, and 2 for a defensive INT.
Massillon looked very fast and quick at the skill positions. Qb's had a very good day as well. Defensively, they looked quick and very put together physically. They are young at some spots so we will see how they do.
On a side note, Jackson went 1-3-1 (not very fast at all). Lexington went 3-2 with wins over Jackson, New Philly, and Ashland, with losses to Massillon and Amherst Steele.

I think these 7 on 7 scrimmages are kinda funny. I mean it's great that the Tiger team is winning and it looks great and all, but giving these other teams a thought that they could hang with us is absurd. Once you add the fact that the offensive and defensive lines will be pounding each other to death and the linebackers and fullbacks will be pounding each other, do you think these other teams would even have a chance? I really don't think so. I think in a real time, hard hitting contest Massillon would wipe the floor with these teams. Is it time yet? Man, I can't wait to see the real thing.
