I've been to two of the home games and Creamer is doing a good job of getting the guys to play inspired together and hiding their flaws.....I think that once one of the outside shooters can start hitting some long distance shots they could get 10-12 wins.

Tigers lose at Saint Ignatius in overtime 62-59
The Tigers lose a close one to Cleveland St. Ignatius. The Tigers were close throughout the game, and could have come out with the win if a couple of this could have went their way. St. Ignatius got the jump on the Tigers early, but never really pulled away in the first half. I believe the Tigers never trailed by more than 5 points. They trailed at the end of the first quarter 19-14, and at the half 38-34. In the third Massillon came back and took the lead at the end of the third quarter 48-47 for their first lead of the game. This night foul shooting would be the Tigers problem as they only made 9 of 22, while Cleveland St. Ignatius were 17 of 19, but at one point hit their first 12 foul shots in a row. Massillon scored their first basket of the fourth quarter to take a three point lead, but St. Ignatius just kept coming back. Toward the end of regulation St. Ignatius had the ball with a chance to win. Massillon wasn't over the limit in fouls so they fouled St. Ignatius twice giving St. Ignatius the ball out at the side instead of free throws. They did manage a shot at the buzzer, but it fell short. In the overtime, Massillon made a basket by Justin Turner and two free throws by Gio Caracillo to pull ahead 59-55, but St. Ignatius would go down get foulled and make the free throws, as they hit one basketball by Patrick Sweeney and two free throws, and Patrick Hinkel hit 3 out of four free throws. Patrick Hinkel had two free throws with a two point lead late in the game. He missed the first one, openning the door for a three point shot to tie the game, but the last shot by Trennie Richardson fell off the iron. Massillon made 24 of 45 from the field for 53%, including 2 of 8 three pointers, while Cleveland St. Ignatius shot 20 of 51 from the floor for 39% including 5 of 22 from the three point line. Leading point getters for Massillon was Justin Turner 19 points, Gio Caracillo 13 points, and Khyree Turner 9 points. For Cleveland St. Ignatius Patrick Sweeney had 14 points, Tom Parker had 13 points, and Christopher Lobe had 9 points. Massillon falls to 2-5, while Cleveland St. Ignatius improves to 5-3 on the season. Massillon will face Erie Cathedral Prep at Massillon Saturday night. Erie Cathedral Prep is 7-2 on the season including a 64-62 victory over this same Cleveland St. Ignatius team in a tournament at Buffalo Canisus high school on December 15th. Their other victories were over Beaver Falls, Harbor Creek, Erie East, Meadville Area and Hickory. They also have a forfeit victory over Niagara Falls Catholic. There two losses were to Beaver Falls Blackhawk and Buffalo Grover Cleveland, NY. Go Tigers Beat The Erie Cathedral Prep Ramblers.
