Ohio State in another Championship Game

The Ohio State soccer team will play in the championship game. They beat Umass 1-0 to advance.

Good luck against Wake Forest. They will be extremely difficult to beat. I watched them play last year and they are very talented and will be at home down here in NC.

Xavier Balc for the Buckeyes will need to have a great game. He helped lead Hudson to a #1 ranking in the country several years back.

Ohio State loses 2-1 to Wake Forest. The Bucks were up 1-0 for most of the game. The linesman missed the ball going out of bounds right in front of him and the Wake Forest midfielder dribbles down the sideline and plays a ball to their forward who scores. Wake Forest then catches the backside defender napping and scores the game winner with around 10 minutes left in the game. Too bad that Ohio State couldn't hang around until penalty kicks, because I think their goalie is better.

Oh well, Wake Forest was probably the better team and wins their first national title.

A great season and career for the senior class at Ohio State.
