Here we go again.
Everyone needs to read the posting rules again.
Emotions are running high right now, and some folks seem to have forgotten about the basic rules for posting during the season.
If you can't understand what these rules mean, PM a moderator and we will be happy to explain them to you:
"No negative threads or posts during the season - The goal of the forums is clearly stated to be "for the promotion of Massillon Sports". Please refrain from openly negative and/or critical comments until after the season. This includes all the groups involved i.e. the team, coaches, event staff, band, cheerleaders etc.
Absolutely NO injury reports are to be discussed publicly in the forums- We will give no aid or comfort to the enemy (i.e. the other teams) as to the status of injuries. It is our duty to protect our injury reports, every bit as much as not disclosing a game plan.
No negative threads or posts about a student or their families at any time - We have a zero tolerance policy about mentioning a student by name and attacking that student's athletic ability, character, personality or family. The kids read the site regularly, and many of them are members."
We have needed to delete or clean up way too many threads and posts this week.
I won't speak for the other mods, but from now on I will not hesitate to give temporary bans to anyone violating these rules.
