Um, Keno yet again your Steelers took an ass-kicking from New England. This wasn't even close. And nice move by Einstein there at Pittspuke to guarantee victory. Yes sir, nice move indeed. Total domination.

CarlE,

It might be time to raise a red flag after what I saw yesterday. And Anthony Smith had no right to guarantee a win like he did. Freaking stupid.

The Steelers are in serious trouble after what New England did to them today (I hope none of my Steelers sweethearts see this...I know which ones will be surprised if they are reading this). They didn't deserve to win yesterday and I hope this game is a wake-up call for them.

I only hope they come out with an instinct that is real, intense, collected, killer, speedy, heated, empowered, powerful, attentive, snappish against Jacksonville or I fear the worst with three weeks left in the season.........

Are you talking about that sweetheart Kordell?

You guys are SOOOOOOOO STOOOOOOPID !!!! Coach Tomlin took a page out of Stacy's playbook, and conceded the New England 'regular' season game, so that we can cropdust them in the playoffs ! Sound familiar????

This new coach is a GENIUS. New England is feeling all warm and fuzzy now, but wait til playoffs !!

I love when a plan comes together.

DAWGH8R,

Maybe I'm getting a little too premature with the red flag thing. The last time I raised a red flag back in 2003 (the Steelers were 6-10 in a tough year in which they lost five straight at one point to fall to 2-6), I had to deal with sisters Emily and Lauren B. (two moderators on my Steelers site)...Emily said "Keno, you're supposed to stay with the Steelers! You should stick with them win or lose!" Lauren follows with "you should stick with them win or lose."

And then Lauren C. follows up with "Keno, you needed a reality check there." I'm lucky Melanie doesn't know about all this...she would kill me along with four others at best!!!

The Steelers have to bounce back and I believe they will and go 8-0 at home in the regular season! GO STEELERS! JACK THE JAGUARS!!

Yeah, that's the plan. You just stick with that one. I'm SURE that's what they meant to do.

Has Keno had a winner at all this year?

Massillon Catholic,

Barring a letdown, Pittsburgh is in the driver's seat to win their third AFC North title this decade (2002 and 2004). But the Cleveland Browns are dangerously close behind them......

Dangerously close is right Keno. Looking at the schedules, even with losing to Pittsburg 2 times, the Brownies could end up winning the Division. The Jags are red hot and Baltimore (even with the beating they took last night) are pretty dangerous at home when they want to be (ie New England game). That's a division game so I can see Ray Ray getting his team up to ruin the Steelers chances at winning the Division. Of course, with the way the Browns played yesterday, both Buffalo and Cincy could be tough for them. But, that's why they play the game.

Asked about how Smith was tricked into allowing a long touchdown catch by Jabar Gaffney on a gadget play, Belichick said, "The safety play at that position was pretty inviting."

Give Belichick 5 yards for piling on.

I love it.

Too bad the Browns don't still have him as a coach.

CarlE,

I swear for the love of Dennis Miller...won't Anthony Smith shut his shoddy, horrible, ignorant, trashy, thoughtless, yellow mouth? I'm tired of his guarantees.

He needs to be like the rest of the Steelers and focus on the Jacksonville Jaguars! And even if Pittsburgh wins their wild-card opener, they would have to travel to Indianapolis and the RCA Dome (#2 toughest stadium in the AFC) before they see the Patriots again.

I'm not thinking about the men of Foxboro. Pittsburgh had better win Sunday or the red flag is going to go up...and that can't be good for the black and gold, along with Mike Tomlin, who is now in a place he thought he would never be in.........

And Mass6,

You have a good post. Mike Trivisonno's hometown team has proven to be formidable in the fourth quarter, their best advantage. Romeo Crennel has proven to be a fourth-quarter head coach. Cleveland won't concede without a fight, that much is said. They've taken the stance that they are tired of being picked on and want to do something about it. And they have. That's impressive to see. Pittsburgh will have to fight and I mean FIGHT to win the AFC North.
